Choose an observation window
A test should be long enough to observe the behavior you are investigating, within the agreed limits.
Begin with a short run
Check the target and monitoring before increasing duration. A longer run is not automatically more useful.
Record the conditions
Keep the configuration, duration, and relevant system observations together so you can compare later tests.
